Hi Nakia - I love your newsletters and your latest “When Just Fine Will Do” really resonated with me.
We had the great pleasure of listening to the Singer/Songwriter Cheryl Wheeler https://www.cherylwheeler.com/ last night at The Freight & Salvage venue in Berkeley, California. Every time Cheryl would tune her guitar or ukulele for a new song, after a few minutes of tuning she would stop and say something along the lines of “that will work”, then would smile and the audience would smile as Cheryl began her song. Cheryl shared with the audience that everything was “just fine” and we all enjoyed a fabulous night of music!
Patricia, thank you so much for sharing your experience! Talk about philosophy in action. What a great example of bringing “just fine” to life. It’s moments like this that remind us of the beauty (and synchronicity) in accepting that things don't have to be perfect to be wonderful. It sounds like you guys had an amazing night. It's stories like yours that inspire me to keep writing and exploring these ideas. And thank you for sharing Cheryl’s work! I love that she has never had a "day job"..
